Celebrating the next steps in the Paintback Bucket Initiative

Paintack bucket initiative

Paintback’s goal has always been to divert unwanted paint and packaging from landfill and vital waterways, and convert it instead into valuable resources we can use again and again.

To date, Paintback has collected and treated now over 45 million kilograms of unwanted paint and packaging which has been dropped off to over 165 locations all over Australia as well as many pop-up events.

It's not easy to clean used plastic paint pails, and they are often hard to recycle.

From unwanted paint packaging, we've created a 100% plastic recycled, Aussie-made 4L multi-purpose bucket, perfect for paint or handy jobs around the home or paint sale.

We’re pleased to share that this spring, customers for a limited time and at selected bunnings stores in South East Queensland can shop our range of Paintback paint buckets, which are the first products to be made from the paint packaging returned through their drop-off locations.
